During my recent trip to Motel des Deux Lacs, I was pleasantly surprised by the serene charm of this smoke-free haven in the heart of Quebec. While it wasn't quite the spectacular landscape I typically adore, the quaint cabin-like ambiance and the peaceful views of the private lake were a welcome retreat. The housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room spotless, and I appreciated having the kitchenette; it made our girls' getaway so much more enjoyable with cozy breakfasts in our PJs. One of my favorite touches was that we could control the temperature in our room - so crucial when sharing with friends who are always freezing! And let me tell you, sipping coffee on our small balcony while soaking in the lake view felt like pure bliss. If you're seeking a quiet escape with the option for outdoor adventures nearby, this place is worth a visit! Just remember to notify the hotel about your arrival time; they were very kind and accommodating.
